Editorial

The CNIA Executive Board is currently in the process of planning our Third National Nursing Informatics Conference. We conducted a members poll in our Members Community and the vast majority favoured Toronto as the best venue city. We are now looking at venues and best dates for our Conference, and how it fits into the National conference scene this fall.

So far, we have decided to hold the Conference in November 2009. As well, we have decided that the Theme of this Conference will be “Nurse 2.0”.

Please start to think about how you can contribute to the Conference. We will of course be looking for paper and poster contributions. If you can not attend the conference in person, but wish to contribute a web-based presentation to include in our final Conference Journal issue, please send it in. We will also be looking for CNIA members interested in sitting on the Planning and the Program (scholarship review) Committees.

Stay tuned for more information in the Winter 2009 issue, and on the CNIA website!

All the best,

CJNI Editor In Chief,
CNIA President
