Write a Column for CJNI!

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Canadian Nursing Informatics Journal is dedicated to showcasing nursing informatics related work written by Canadian nurses, and nurses around the globe. We welcome articles, essays, reports, reviews, tool kits, and other resources, intended to further the discipline of nursing informatics.

To that end, we are seeking active columns from dedicated nurses who wish to present focused content on a regular basis. An example is the wonderful columns contributed by Dr Sandra Bassendowski related to Technology in Education. This issue also introduces a new column focused on Nursing Informatics Theory, penned by our Editor in Chief, June Kaminski. We are also introducing an “In the News” column this issue, to highlight events, news articles, and other resources of interest to nurses.

We would like to build up our columns in order to present a diverse and valuable resource to all Canadian nurses. If you are interested, please contact us! We are seeking regular (one per issue) columnists and guest columnists who are interested in submitting one column or occasional columns.

A column in the CJNI will not only provide a venue for you to share your expertise, but it will become a valuable addition to your resume or curriculum vitae, as well as give you exposure as an expert in nursing informatics. Our readership extends beyond Canada to include nurses in the United States, Europe, Australia, and other countries as well.

Please contact us with your column ideas! We would love to have you on board!
