Transforming and modernizing Canada’s health care system through electronic health records: The Canada Health Infoway experience.

Mike Sheridan, Chief Operating Officer, Canada Health Infoway, discussed the issues associated with, and progress made in, developing electronic health records (EHR) for Canadians. The presentation looked at the importance of engaging health care practitioners and the benefits and value that the EHR will bring to Canada’s health care system and for the country as a whole.
